Romilly Golding
I founded Whitehorn & Golding in 2021 to leverage my two decades of experience working in Geneva, Rome and Basel writing for international corporations, NGOs and global advertising agencies.
I’m a trained journalist with a degree in Writing and Publishing and a specialisation in semiotics. I'm a twice-business owner, a former secondary teacher of English (Literature and Language), and have been self-employed for the past 15 years.
Whitehorn & Golding offering caters to my clients’ needs for strategic copy and my desire to create a niche writing agency that showcases industry knowledge, seniority and experience.
I work from Geneva and across Switzerland as well as Surrey, London and the South East of England.
Wait… who’s Whitehorn?
Whitehorn refers to my bold and inspiring maternal ancestors, my great-grandmother who left England in the 1920s to work in the Bahamas, and my grandmother who, in the 1950s, travelled solo to America to work in every state across the USA. She later taught women in evening college, helping them gain the skills to find and return to work. This side of my family have always been pioneering in some way, either by adopting vegetarianism and yoga at the turn of the century or working as teachers and educators. By adopting their name, I hope to channel some of their fierce, creative spirit.
